The biggest state investment proposal for transit!

Message from Transportation Riders United.

TRU “just got back from testifying in Lansing in support of an exciting new bill package that could potentially invest $2 billion in public transit in Michigan over the next ten years (details linked and below). If you agree that Michigan needs transformational new investments in public transit, please join in urging our state leaders to make this funding reality!”

We applaud the dedicated work of bill sponsors Senator McMorrow, Rep McFall, Rep Morgan, and Committee Chair Hoskins who crafted these bills and presented them before the House Economic Development Committee this morning. Some dozen leaders spoke in support of the bills and another ninety submitted cards in support. “
