Working Toward Making Regional Transit a Possibility

From Detroit Public Radio, WDET-FM:

Metro Detroit has struggled for years to establish a regional transit system, but one group is trying to visualize how a new system might work. Freshwater Transit is the brainchild of Neil Greenberg, who has outlined a series of imaginary rail and bus routes which could connect the city of Detroit to the outlying suburbs. He spoke with WDET’s J. Carlisle Larsen about what his group aims to accomplish.

Freshwater Transit will hold  an open community event at the Park Bar to solicit commuter feedback at 8:00PM November 14 at the Park Bar in Downtown Detroit.
