The meeting will feature a presentation “Michigan Passenger Rail Station Community Benefit”, by Mr. James L. Roach, whose firm, JL Roach, Inc., served as consultants on this study done for MDOT by Grand Valley State University.

Mr. Roach is an East Lansing based transportation consultant with extensive consulting experience in projects related to intermodal transportation, commuter rail, and border crossings. He has over 35 years of experience in the transportation industry including many years with the Michigan Department of Transportation where he served as Manager of the Freight and Intermodal Planning Sections. Mr. Roach has a BS degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Please join us as we begin a year that promises real progress – challenges, too – in passenger train and commuter services in Michigan and across the country.
