The 13th Michigan Railroad History Conference will take place at the Lansing Community College West Campus, in Lansing. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until 5:00 p.m. There will be an Afterglow at Clara’s with an opportunity for informal discussions about Michigan railroad history after the conference.
Field trips will be caravan style with no additional cost if attending the conference. RSVP necessary to attend (trips may be canceled due to low attendance). Field guides will be handed out at point of embarkation. The MRY-Owosso Branch field trip will start at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16th and run from Lansing to Owosso. The MRy-St Johns Branch field trip will start at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 18th and run from Lansing to St Johns. Field trip participants will be contacted with the assembly points.
Poster presentations are still accepted until August 31, 2015; contact conference chairperson if interested in exhibiting a poster. Poster presentations are static visual presentations to be exhibited in the areas around the presentation room. They should be able to communicate the story of the subject without the poster presenter being present and be of reasonable size.

Address of Lansing Community College-West Campus is 5708 Cornerstone Drive, Lansing. The campus is on the southwest side of Lansing. From I-496 get off at Exit 1, South Creyts Road. Head south on Creyts Rd to Mt Hope Hwy. Turn east on Mt Hope Hwy to Sanders Road. Head north on Sanders Rd to Cornerstone Drive.
